Quietly helping you discover your own voice through mindful photography
Landscape Photography Workshops Scotland
Be gently encouraged through mindful, relaxing, inspired teaching. Experience Landscape Photography workshops in the quiet, beautiful places of the Islands and Highlands of Scotland.
The Landscape photography workshops in Scotland's highlands and isles are led by the renowned landscape and seascape specialist Margaret Soraya. These Scottish landscape photography workshops are an opportunity to catch your breath, relax, and develop an understanding of mindful photography.
Margaret specialises in Scotland's Highlands and Islands. Living close to the shore of Loch Ness, these are places she knows intimately. Margaret has a deep passion for the Isles of Scotland and the Highlands which are a force in her photography.
Taking part in a landscape photography workshop is time for you to immerse within nature and allow the quiet of the landscape to seep in. Therefore the pace is slow, and the teaching is gentle on Margaret’s workshops.
The landscapes and seascapes are remote, wild, and revitalizing.
And Margaret is a kind and encouraging tutor who passionately believes in helping others.
She creates each photography workshop and retreat with the same care and attention she gives to each client.

Something New - 'Explore Workshops'
Not everyone has the time to visit Scotland for a photography workshop. I am now setting up a series of slightly shorter Explore Workshops at locations around the coast of England. In the first, we shall be exploring The Gower Peninsular.

“I soon learnt that in Margaret we had a teacher with endless patience. She puts everyone at ease with a warm smile”

I believe that everyone has unique and beautiful work inside of them as each of us has a unique set of experiences in life, personality and vision.
Photography is a tool to discover and express who you are, what interests you in life, and what you find beautiful and intriguing in the world.
I want nothing more than to see you become happy and fulfilled. And when you are creating work that is in line with your vision, you will find a place of contentment, along with joy and fulfilment within your photography practice.
When leading workshops or teaching online, my purpose is to create the circumstances and for everyone to connect with the landscape in their unique way.
Taking part in a photographic workshop in one of the beautiful and remote locations chosen by myself allows you the time and space to reflect and create.
My aim is always to gently encourage you and assist you in finding your vision, your voice in your work.
