Caroline - It was difficult to choose one of your images because you have such a wonderfully unique perspective on things that actually a series of your images seemed a better way to look at your work. So I hope you don't mind me making a little composite to show everyone.
The eye for detail within your photographic subjects ranging from sea to sand to sky to cow, all beautifully aligned. Cross sections of the world taken in a very contemporary and powerful way.
I loved the way you saw world and I could feel your itch to be out there experiencing every second of the wild landscapes of the Hebrides.
You get the prize for being the only person on the retreats choosing to go out for early morning runs in the hail and sleet as well as the person who spent most time lying on the beaches in sandstorms and rain in the pursuit of an alternative angle.
Your view on the world is unique and beautiful and I would love dearly to see that develop in your photography. You have such a spirit - it was a real joy to shoot alongside you.
