Isle of Harris retreat, Day 3

Retreats, Scottish Islands

In typical Hebridean style, it was all change in the weather on day three and we woke to beautiful blue skies and even a hint of warmth in the air. Travelling over to Hushinish, we arrived to start the afternoon with a picnic that brought the outdoors in. With beautiful views out to Hushinish beach we sat in the warmth of the hut before heading out for a walk over to Traigh Mheilein which felt like some far off distant shore, secluded and remote. We drove back after a beautiful sunset to a meal out at the North Harbour Bistro in Scalpay.
