Lesley Alsford – Cornwall

Lesley, you have a natural way with colour and light and a flair for using the technicals in a very artistic way. It was interesting looking at your photo a day that you have been doing for a long while now and seeing some images that wouldn’t be out of place with the best of professional photography. There was a definite pattern in your use of light and strong technicals in the most soft, creative way.
You managed to continue this through the week and create images that speak of a quiet, concentrated vision, with seemingly effortless technical ability that underpinned, but did not take over the work. I was particularly taken with this wave image the minute I saw it. It has been a real pleasure watching you work and I am extremely interested in how you develop your photography. Thank you for coming with us to Cornwall!
