QUIET LANDSCAPES BESPOKE RETREAT
Individual retreat with accommodation in Loch Ness
Designed to be your very own personal Photography Retreat as you spend a couple of days immersing yourself in photography and quiet time by Loch Ness.
Margaret will be your host for the weekend, taking you into nature helping you find your own vision and style and learn to slowdown and truly respond to the landscape in a gentle calm and slow manner every photography level is catered for from those who have a very basic knowledge to those who want to develop their photography style. This retreat is ideal for those who want to tell a story of the landscape while getting the best from the equipment they already own.
Time with Margaret is incredibly calm; a chance to step into a world you never knew existed of lochs, glens and rolling hills.
Outline of your days
After your arrival early on the evening of day 1, we will have dinner together and chat about your personal experience with photography and what you are hoping to achieve.
On the morning of day 2, we will head out for your first photography session in the landscape. Margaret will help you see what you respond to within the landscape and how to translate that into images.
Most shoot locations are based within thirty minutes of the Hideaway and most are within walking distance at a level that requires wellies but is very easy.
The pace of the day is very gentle, with lots of time to relax, rest and enjoy what you see from a new perspective.
We will stop for a light lunch either on location or back at the hideaway before reviewing your images, editing and post production to suit your own level. We will then head back out for a second shoot at a different location.
On Saturday evening we’ll enjoy dinner together whilst reflecting upon the day and how the experience made you feel.
After breakfast, we will get you checked out of the Hideaway and then we will sail to Urquhart Castle where you will enjoy the historic beauty of the Highlands of Scotland. Later we will enjoy a light lunch together before I say a fond farewell.
