OUR

ETHOS

HELPING YOU FIND YOUR OWN VISION

Our ethos is based around helping you to find your own vision and develop in your photography.

So many people ask ‘How do I find what it is that I truly love?’ The answer is to quieten the noise around you, the social media, looking at other artists, the actual human noise of the city. When you find real tranquility in a wild landscape such as the Scottish islands, only then can you listen to your inner voice. We are here to facilitate that and guide you all the way.

Quiet Landscapes retreats are about spending time in beautiful landscapes, exploring how nature can bring happiness, calmness and inspiration towards finding your own unique style of photography. It is more encouraging you to find your own path rather than teaching you how to take a shot from a certain angle or using a particular lens.

As a result, locations will be diverse and you can go off by yourself a little if that’s how you work best. You will have the time and space within nature to step back, enjoy and develop your work.
