Seascape Photography Workshop Cornwall

I have just returned from leading an incredibly successful seascape photography workshop. This was run in collaboration with Mark Dobson of Wild Seascapes. We headed down to Cornwall just in time for Storm Ciara to hit. It was possibly the best timing as it brought with it huge waves, wild conditions and interesting skies.

We stayed at Una, St Ives which provided lovely self-catering accommodation for the participants and a great location to access the most beautiful coastline.I used to live and surf Cornwall and am extremely fond of the area. So much so that I often go on holiday to Cornwall. The potential for varied images and great waves is endless.

Below are some of the images I shot during the week myself and I will also be sharing the participants work on my new feedback page as well. A huge thanks to Ffordes Photographic who kindly let me take the Sigma 150-600mm lens with me to test out in combination with my Nikon D800. As you can see this lens turned out to be just the thing for getting right in on the incredible waves in Cornwall.

Thank you to everyone who came all the way to Cornwall in a storm and made the week an absolute delight.
