Surfing in Scotland and time out with my eldest son

Time is precious. I have the most amazing relationship with my eldest son who is 18 and having a year out before university. We always have lots of laughs and adventures together. So when it came to choosing a birthday treat I chose surfing with him. He wasn't so impressed at getting woken up by an excited mum who wanted to go surfing in the morning but he obliged.
These times I know won't happen again and spending time with your family is so much more precious than worrying about gifts at this time of year. Here are some images from our wonderful day on a deserted beach in Lossiemouth having fun on some hired foamier! I can't guarantee the quality of the surfing, but the enjoyment was enormous.
