Time out in Cornwall in search of waves

I took a break last week during what has been the start of a busy summer for me. I headed down to Cornwall! I used to live in Falmouth and spent many a weekend in Newquay during my college years. I have a love of Cornwall for obvious reasons - the coastline and amazing waves. And whilst we tried to decide on what foreign holiday we could take a few months ago, eventually we decided that a roadtrip to Cornwall and hiring some surfboards was as good or better than a " proper holiday"

It turned out to be far far better than any holiday I could have booked. We stayed at a caravan park within walking distance to the beach and surf hire and spent days living a very simple life.

Outdoors all day, waves, sunshine, time spent with my ever patient partner, Rob and even a tiny bit of improvement in my dreadful surfing ability thanks to Andrew from George's Surf School.
