Walking on the Isle of Harris – Ceapabhal

Yesterday afternoon I decided to walk up Ceapabhal on the Isle of Harris. I’ve been meaning to do this on a sunny day for a while, so I set off after photographing a beach wedding earlier that day.

I experienced views down to turquoise seas and over Harris. Just me, the cows and sheep and time to just soak in the quiet beauty of the island.

The fire seen in the background were moor fires which have continued to burn till tonight.
